Job summary

PTMW,-Inc is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to ensure accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, approvals, and reconciliations. You will support month-end closes, regulatory reporting, and continuous improvement of AP processes.

You will match invoices to packing slips, process PO and non-PO invoices, and maintain documentation while ensuring compliance with tax regulations and internal policies. Collaboration with vendors and internal teams is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years in accounts payable or related finance work preferred.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of AP processes and general accounting principles.
• Experience with paperless workflows and electronic invoicing preferred.
• Familiarity with sales and use tax requirements preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with ERP or accounting software systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Match packing slips and receiving docs to vendor invoices for accuracy.
• Obtain approvals for invoices per purchasing and payment policies.
• Process and enter PO-related invoices into the accounting system.
• Process and enter non-PO invoices for designated vendors/expense categories.
• Assist with daily results reporting.
• Review invoices for use tax liabilities and prepare tax worksheets.
• Review unvouchered receipts and investigate outstanding items.
• Reconcile vendor statements monthly; ensure month-end accuracy.
• Assist with IFTA compliance reporting and related docs as needed.
• Review, update, and maintain AP policies, procedures, and work instructions.
