Job summary

Piggly Wiggly Midwest LLC is seeking an Accounts Payable Rep II to efficiently process invoices for payment and resolve differences with internal and external groups. The role supports timely payments and accurate record-keeping.

You will review invoices received by mail, email, or electronically, enter them into the AP system, and handle reconciliations. Strong Excel skills and AP/GL software experience are preferred, with 2–5 years of related work expected.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of applicable experience, preferably in the accounts payable field.
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with AR/AP/GL software.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in processing invoices.

Position Overview The Accounts Payable Rep II is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of invoices for payment, and lead resolution of differences with internal and external groups to ensure timely payment.

• Receive and review invoices received electronically, via email, or US mail

• Validate that invoices received via US mail have not already been transmitted electronically

• Determine where/how invoice should be processed, have it scanned or manually enter the invoice into the appropriate AP system

• Carry out invoice reconciliation where necessary, for all invoices sources, update invoice amount for discrepancies

• Monitor and action rejected receipts

• Lead the resolution of queries from vendors and internal departments
