Job summary

Niagara Bottling is seeking an Accounts Payable Associate II to process invoices using 3-way and 2-way match systems and ensure timely payments to suppliers. You will research discrepancies and provide exceptional service to internal customers and suppliers.

The role emphasizes accuracy in data entry, collaboration with AP Banking and Controller Team, and ongoing improvement of automation tools such as OTM, EDI, OBN, and BOTs.

Qualifications

• 2 Years – Experience in Accounting Field
• 2 Years – Experience in an Accounting Clerk Position, including 3-way match
• 4 Years – Experience in Accounting Field
• 4 Years – Experience in an Accounting Clerk Position, including 3-way match

Responsibilities

• Process invoices, both manually and electronically, using 3-way match system
• Handle invoices that require multiple steps, also known as complex invoices
• Enter data accurately
• Research and correct payment discrepancies
• Research and correct invoices using automation tools like OTM, EDI, OBN and BOTs
• Suggest updates for automation tools and participate in implementation
• Review invoices against payment selection and resolve discrepancies
• Take appropriate discounts and meet payment terms
• Preform monthly review of supplier statements and resolve issues
• Provide excellent customer service to suppliers and internal departments
• Maintain and update vendor information in system
• Pull reports as needed
• Preform monthly accrual review
• Prepare for Month End Closing (aging, prepayments, exception reports)
• Maintain high productivity to meet KPIs
• Assist with travel/credit platform (Travel/Credit Team) in related tasks
