Job summary

Seneca Family of Agencies is seeking an Accounts Payable Accountant to manage vendor invoices, employee expenses, and credit card reports. This role will perform monthly reconciliations and serve as the go-to contact for payment inquiries, contributing to the organization’s financial accuracy and efficiency.

The position offers a full-time, hybrid schedule with in-person attendance at the Oakland office once a week and a comprehensive benefits package including PTO, holidays, and health coverage.

Qualifications

• Degree in finance or accounting required.
• Experience with accounting ERP systems incl. Sage Intacct, Paymerang, Emburse Professional, FloQast preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• TB test clearance and fingerprinting clearance required; other licensing may apply.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; ability to pass a computer assessment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and process invoices and employee reimbursements accurately and timely.
• Ensure proper coding and approvals per policy.
• Review and reconcile credit card transactions with supporting docs.
• Maintain vendor and employee records.
• Respond to inquiries and resolve payment discrepancies professionally.
