Thompson Pipe Group, a privately held family business of engineers, contractors, and manufacturers based in Rialto, California, seeks an Accounting Clerk to handle invoices,POs, and payments. You will contribute to a variety of finance tasks including month-end close and tax submittals.

The role requires strong Excel and ERP experience, detail orientation, and the ability to work independently or with a team in a busy environment. We offer comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proficient in using MS Excel, Outlook, Adobe PDF or equivalent tools.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Solid analytical, mathematical and research skills.
• Experience with GL coding and three-way matching.
• Ability to process a high volume of AP invoices daily.
• Maintain confidentiality of organizational information.
• Experience with Tradogram and Sage 100 ERP is a plus.
• 2+ years of Accounting clerk experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Processes accounts payable invoices in accounting software with data entry, coding, and filing.
• Prepares bi-monthly check runs, processes weekly ACH requests, and vendor payments.
• Researches and resolves processing problems with internal and external parties.
• Handles inquiries from vendors via phone, fax and email.
• Records cash receipts and supports month-end close activities.
• Assists with month-end close including reconciling cash and subledgers.
• Prepares monthly sales and use tax submittals and 1099 filings.
• Assists with annual audits and related documentation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
