Allied Residential in Renton, WA is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our accounts payable processes. You will review, process, and reconcile invoices, maintain vendor relationships, and support timely payments in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate with internal departments to ensure proper coding and approvals, with audit support as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in accounting preferred.
• 2+ years of accounts payable experience in a multi-entity environment is ideal.
• Strong grounding in accounting principles and AP processes.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices accurately and timely, ensuring policy compliance.
• Verify invoice details, match purchase orders, and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain vendor files and respond to inquiries professionally.
• Prepare and process payments (checks, ACH, wire transfers).
• Assist month-end closing by reconciling AP transactions.
• Monitor payments and resolve outstanding issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams for proper expense coding and approvals.
• Support audits by providing documentation and reports.
