KPFF Consulting Engineers in Seattle seeks an Accounts Payable Specialist to process vendor invoices and employee expenses, manage payments, and maintain vendor records within a high-volume environment.

The role collaborates with Project Cost Accountants and Shared Services across multiple offices, supports month-end close and audits, and helps ensure accurate financial records through proactive problem-solving and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• 2+ years of accounts payable or related financial experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other business software applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to research discrepancies and follow issues to resolution.

Responsibilities

• Process high-volume vendor invoices and employee expense reports accurately.
• Review documentation and approvals for policy compliance.
• Manage check runs, ACH payments, and reconciliation.
• Reconcile selected accounts and support card transactions.
• Maintain vendor records and tax reporting support.
• Assist with month-end close and audit activities.
• Collaborate with multiple offices to resolve questions.
