Qualifications

• Proven ability to prioritize, verify, and process vendor invoices
• Experience with high-volume accounts payable in fast-paced environments
• Familiarity with purchase orders, contracts and payment terms
• Strong communication and documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Prioritize invoices according to cash discount potential and payment terms; resolve discrepancies and ensure credit memos are applied
• Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to processing
• Process check requests and cash runs; obtain signatures for checks/EFTs and distribute
• Reconcile vendor statements and address inquiries about payments or invoices
• Maintain filing and documentation per company policy
