Alchemy is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Finance team in New York. You will own daily AP activities including invoice coding, timely payments, vendor support, and reconciliations.

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will work across Zip, NetSuite, and Ramp to maintain smooth procure-to-pay operations. The role requires 2–4 years in AP, strong attention to detail, and proactive communication.

Qualificações

• 2–4 years of experience in accounts payable or a related accounting operations role.
• Hands-on responsibility for invoice processing and vendor support.
• Curiosity about how processes work and initiative to improve them.
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills with lookups, pivots, data reconciliation.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the AP inbox, process invoices and vendor requests, and serve as a primary contact.
• Code and classify vendor invoices in Zip and NetSuite with approvals and PO matching where applicable.
• Prepare payment batches, monitor deadlines, and follow up on approvals.
• Support vendor onboarding and maintain vendor records, including tax forms and banking information.
• Investigate invoice discrepancies and payment issues; escalate when needed.
• Review employee expenses in Ramp for accurate coding and policy compliance.
• Reconcile AP with GL and support month-end close with accruals.
• Maintain vendor tax documentation and support 1099 preparation.
• Follow controls and documentation for vendor banking changes.
• Provide AP documentation for audits and internal reviews.
• Support system updates and workflow improvements affecting AP/FP&A.
