CFS is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support a growing organization during a major ERP transition. You will process invoices, ensure accurate coding and timely payments while maintaining strong internal controls.

You will liaise with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies, manage AP aging, and assist with month-end close and reporting as the system changes roll out.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounts payable experience in a high-volume processing environment.
• Strong knowledge of invoice processing, three-way matching, vendor maintenance, and payment procedures.
• Ability to manage large workloads while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities; effective communication with vendors.

Responsibilities

• Process a high volume of invoices daily while ensuring accuracy, proper approvals, and timely payment processing
• Review invoices for coding accuracy, supporting documentation, and compliance with company policies
• Act as the primary point of contact for vendor payment inquiries and account-related questions
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, pricing variances, and payment issues
• Coordinate with purchasing, operations, accounting, and leadership teams to ensure timely invoice approvals
• Set up and maintain vendor records, including tax documentation and payment information
• Monitor accounts payable aging and assist with payment scheduling and cash flow requirements
• Support payment processing activities, including ACH, wire, and check disbursements
• Assist with month-end close procedures by preparing AP reconciliations and related reporting
• Manage accounts payable responsibilities across multiple entities, locations, or business units
• Participate in ERP implementation activities, including testing, validation, data review, and process documentation
• Help identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements that enhance workflow accuracy and productivity
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and accounting procedures
• Provide support for audits and other requests requiring AP documentation and reporting
