Job summary

Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine seeks an Accounts Payable professional to process disbursements for purchases, travel, dues, and related items with tight attention to detail.

You will voucher invoices, ensure PO matching, and manage check runs and direct deposits while maintaining confidentiality and meeting deadlines. Candidates should have 3 years AP experience and strong Excel/Office skills. This full-time role is on-site in the Philadelphia area.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable.
• Experience with supplier invoice processing.
• Proficiency in MS Office and financial accounting processes.
• Workday experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Voucher supplier invoices.
• Compare invoices to Purchase Orders to ensure they match in vendor, price, line item detail.
• Ensure receiving is completed against purchase orders.
• Process check runs to create checks and direct deposits.
• Match backup to checks and direct deposits for mailing.
• Reviews expense reports for compliance to the Travel Policy including receipt review.
• Open Accounts Payable USPS mail, sort, and distribute.
• First point of contact for inquiries (both internal and external) via email and telephone.
• Assists the Accounts Payable Supervisor with information requests.
• Acts as backup for processing Student Refund check runs for the Bursar’s office.
• Other duties as assigned.
