KPFF Consulting Engineers is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting team in downtown Seattle. You will process vendor invoices and employee expenses, manage payments, maintain vendor records, and support month-end close across a multi-office organization.

The role requires 2+ years in AP, a degree in accounting or related field, and strong Excel and communication skills. Work five days a week in our Seattle office with flexible hours and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifikationen

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• 2+ years of accounts payable, accounting, bookkeeping, or related financial experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other business software applications.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.

Aufgaben

• Process high-volume vendor invoices and employee expense reports accurately and efficiently.
• Review documentation, coding, approvals, and business purpose for compliance with company policies.
• Manage check runs, ACH payments, and payment reconciliation activities.
• Perform biweekly corporate credit card reconciliations and ensure cardholder compliance with policies.
• Maintain accurate vendor records and assist with year-end vendor compliance activities.
• Assist with 1099 preparation and month-end close as needed.
• Support month-end close activities and ensure timely recording of transactions.
• Reconcile selected balance sheet and expense accounts and investigate variances.
