Job summary

Qualifications

• 1 year administrative experience or equivalent education/experience
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Accounting is a plus
• 2–3 years hands-on accounting or accounts payable experience is a plus
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Excel; experience with spreadsheets and automated accounting systems
• Strong attention to detail and solid math/logic skills
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication; team player

Responsibilities

• Process invoices and reconcile vendor accounts to ensure accurate payments
• Maintain timely monthly close and resolve vendor discrepancies quickly
• Record entries by analyzing invoices and expense reports and assigning to correct accounts
• Reconcile vendor payment journals and aging; ensure payments are posted and authorized
• Protect company information by maintaining confidentiality and following delegation of authority
