Responsibilities

• Process a high volume of accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Review and vouch invoices and supporting documentation for accuracy and approvals.
• Process vendor payments via ACH, checks, and wire transfers.
• Review employee expense reports and maintain documentation.
• Manage company credit card transactions and reconcile activity.
• Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Work closely with internal teams and branch locations to resolve AP questions.
• Assist with additional accounting projects as needed.

We’re looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join an established organization with a collaborative accounting team. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys staying busy, solving problems, and taking ownership of day-to-day AP responsibilities.

WHAT YOU’LL DO AS THE ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST

• Process a high volume of accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently




• Review and vouch invoices and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and proper approvals




• The AP Specialist will process vendor payments through ACH, checks, and wire transfers




• Review and process employee expense reports and maintain accurate documentation




• The AP Specialist will manage company credit card transactions and reconcile activity




• Reconcile vendor accounts and research and resolve discrepancies




• Work closely with internal teams and branch locations to resolve AP questions and issues




• The AP Specialist will assist with additional accounting projects and responsibilities as needed

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR IN AN ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST

• Previous accounts payable or accounting experience




• Experience processing invoices and payments




• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills




• Experience with VLOOKUPs and PivotTables is a plus




• Ability to research discrepancies and solve problems




• Comfortable managing multiple priorities and shifting between tasks throughout the day
