Overview

This position will assist in managing vendor relationships, ensure accurate financial records, and support day-to-day operations. Reports to: Director, Controller

Key Responsibilities

• Carrier invoice processing
  • Review and enter high volume invoices into the FMS, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures
• Review proof of delivery documents and ensure compliance with company policies
• Maintain relationships with vendors
• Resolve discrepancies
• Respond to vendor inquiries timely
• Prepare and process daily check runs and ACH payments in the EAP system

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in logistics transportation
• Proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel
• Attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines

Preferred Skills

• Experience in a billing or financial analysis role.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve department goals.
