Job summary

Culligan Water Kansas City is hiring an AP Specialist to manage daily accounts payable for multiple entities, reconcile corporate card activity, and ensure accurate coding across companies.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's in accounting/finance (or equivalent) and at least 2 years in accounting, with experience in multi-entity setups. NetSuite experience is a plus; this is an in-person role with standard hours and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in accounting/finance.
• Experience in working with multiple legal entities.
• Experience coding AP transactions.

Responsibilities

• Daily monitoring, validation and recording of a high volume of AP transactions and bank debits.
• Entering high-volume AP invoices with attention to correct coding and operating company selection.
• Detailed receipt review and monitoring employee compliance with corporate credit card usage.
• Reconcile corporate credit card activity and variances.
• Review and reconcile variances due to integration issues.
• Collaborate with accounting team, supervisor, collections specialist and AR specialist; prepare special reports or projects.

Culligan’s AP Specialist is responsible for entering daily accounts payable transactions, and monitoring, reviewing, and reconciling all corporate credit card transactions for all three of our operating companies.

Essential Job Duties

• Daily monitoring, validation and recording of very high volume of both AP transactions and bank debits.
• Entering high-volume of Accounts Payable invoices with careful attention to detail for correct coding and for selecting the correct operating company.
• Detailed receipt review, and monitor employee compliance with corporate credit card usage
• Reconcile corporate credit card activity
• Review and reconcile variances that may occur due to integration issues.
• Work closely with and communicate with other members of the accounting team, as well as supervisor, collections specialist & AR specialist
• Prepares special reports or other projects, as requested.

Compensation / Hours / Benefits

Job Type: Full-time

Work Location: In person

Minimum Salary based on experience: $26.50 – $31.00/per hour
