Job summary

Minutehouse, based in Indianapolis, Indiana, is hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist for a remote role in the United States. You will manage supplier invoices, run weekly payments, and maintain 1099 records while collaborating with the finance lead in Indianapolis.

This is a full-time position with a focus on accuracy and vendor relationships. You will also verify intake tool readings against source documents, reconcile statements, and ensure timely payments while leveraging QuickBooks Online /

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in accounts payable.
• Experience with major accounting platforms (QBO, Xero or NetSuite).
• Proficient with Excel or Google Sheets for reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Enter and code supplier invoices and match them to purchase orders and contracts.
• Run the weekly payment batch (ACH, check, card).
• Reconcile vendor statements.
• Chase missing credits.
• Collect W-9s and keep 1099 records ready for year end.
• Compare intake tool readings against source documents and flag discrepancies.

Job description

Accounts Payable Specialist, remote in the U.S., full-time, reporting to our finance lead in Indianapolis. Supplier invoices, payment runs, vendor statements, 1099s. You'll also be one of the first people checking the invoice intake tool we use internally.

You will

• Enter and code supplier invoices and match them to purchase orders and contracts
• Run the weekly payment batch (ACH, check, card)
• Reconcile vendor statements
• Chase missing credits
• Collect W-9s and keep 1099 records ready for year end
• Compare what the intake tool read against the source document, and flag what it got wrong

You have

• One to two years in accounts payable
• QuickBooks Online, Xero or NetSuite
• Excel or Google Sheets for reconciliations

Also good:

Bill.com or Ramp; filing 1099s.
