Job summary

Fraza is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist in Michigan to perform complex clerical and accounting assignments and prepare reports and financial documents.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of related experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, knowledge of spreadsheets and accounting software, strong math skills, and excellent written and verbal communication are expected.

Responsibilities

• Conducts routine data entry for accounting records including accounts payable, cash receipts posting and accounts receivable adjustments.
• Reviews billing statements, invoices, and similar documents for accuracy.
• Posts journal entries to general ledger.
• Generates summary sheets and reports as directed.
• Allocates expenditures to correct accounts according to departmental procedures.
• Assist with various accounting projects as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
