Vitan Equipment is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to perform complex clerical and accounting tasks, including preparing financial documents and reports. The role requires attention to detail, data accuracy, and proficiency with accounting software.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and at least one year of related experience, with strong MS Office skills and solid math and communication abilities. On-site position in Canton Township, MI.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct routine data entry for accounts payable, cash receipts posting, and accounts receivable adjustments.
• Review billing statements, invoices, and similar documents for accuracy.
• Post journal entries to general ledger.
• Generate summary sheets and reports as directed.
• Allocate expenditures to correct accounts according to procedures.
• Assist with various accounting projects as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education/Experience

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Knowledge of spreadsheets and accounting software.
• Thorough understanding of accounting practices and procedures.
• Ability to enter data accurately and efficiently into computer software and systems.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Principle Responsibilities
