Job summary

K2 Space is hiring an Accounts Payable Clerk in Los Angeles, CA to oversee the accounts payable function. You will process vendor invoices, manage payments, and ensure compliance with tax requirements and internal controls.

The role emphasizes process optimization and collaboration across finance. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in AP, proficiency with ERP systems, and strong Excel skills, with a detail-oriented and collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounts payable experience, with demonstrated expertise in AP processes and 3-way matching.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, MS Dynamics, QuickBooks) and AP software tools (e.g., Bill.com, Ramp).
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial processing.

Responsibilities

• Process high-volume vendor invoices, including verification, coding, and approvals.
• Assist in the preparation and execution of payment runs (checks, ACH, wire transfers) to ensure timely vendor payments.
• Maintain the vendor master file with data accuracy and tax compliance (W-9s, 1099s).
• Review AP transactions to ensure internal controls and regulatory compliance.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and accruals.
• Assist in AP aging reports and other management reports.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and assist in AP automation initiatives.
• Collaborate with procurement and receiving to resolve PO/invoice discrepancies.
