NextStep Recruiting has partnered with a global manufacturing organization to identify an Accounts Payable Specialist in Grand Prairie, TX. The role is a contract-to-hire opportunity, beginning fully onsite for training before transitioning to a hybrid schedule of three days onsite and two days remote.

NextStep Recruiting has partnered with a global manufacturing organization to identify an Accounts Payable Specialist in Grand Prairie, TX. This contract-to-hire opportunity will begin fully onsite for training before transitioning to a hybrid schedule of three days onsite and two days remote.

This position is ideal for an experienced AP professional who is comfortable working in a high-volume environment, has strong three-way matching experience, and can efficiently research and resolve invoice discrepancies while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Required:

• Experience processing high-volume Accounts Payable, including approximately 150+ invoices per day
• Strong three-way matching experience, including researching discrepancies, reconciliations, debit/credit memos, and expense coding
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, formulas, formatting, and reporting
• Experience working within a robust ERP environment
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage a fast-paced workload

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or actively pursuing; Associate’s degree in Accounting may also be considered
• Oracle experience
• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Exposure to journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, financial statements, bank reconciliations, or fixed assets
• Manufacturing industry experience and/or exposure to foreign currency transactions
