Qualifications

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking an AP Specialist in Clearwater, FL. Key Responsibilities:

• AP Specialist will manage the full accounts payable lifecycle from invoice receipt through payment processing
• Process and reconcile non-PO invoices accurately and efficiently
• Execute check runs, payment runs, ACH transactions, and wire payments
• Review invoices for accuracy, coding, approvals, and compliance with company policies
• Maintain vendor records and respond to vendor inquiries in a timely manner
• As an AP Specialist, you will assist with account reconciliations and month-end close activities as needed
• Support process improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to internal controls

Requirements

• Minimum of 4-5 years of Accounts Payable experience, including full-cycle AP processing
• Strong understanding of accounts payable best practices and payment processing procedures
• Experience managing non-PO invoice workflows
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including: Pivot Tables; VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP functions; Formulas and data analysis functions; Ability to navigate and manipulate large datasets
• Proven track record of hitting the ground running in a fast-paced setting
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and quickly adapt to new environments

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
