Kforce Inc. is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support a fast-paced accounting team in Tampa. This onsite role handles high-volume PO and non-PO invoice processing, three-way matching, GL coding, and vendor communications.

The position starts as temporary with potential for permanent employment and growth within the finance organization. Responsibilities include payments processing (ACH, wire, checks), AP aging reporting, month-end accruals, and 1099 reporting.

Formación

• 2-4 years of AP or general accounting experience.
• Experience with invoice processing and three-way matching.
• Knowledge of GL coding, payments, and reconciliations.
• Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication.
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.

Responsibilities

Kforce's client, a food manufacturer with operations in Florida and Texas, is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support its accounting team. This hands-on role involves high-volume invoice processing, vendor payments, reconciliations, and financial reporting. The position is initially temporary, with potential for permanent employment. Key Responsibilities:

• Accounts Payable Specialist will process high-volume PO and non-PO invoices, including three-way matching
• Perform GL coding and resolve invoice discrepancies
• Coordinate with vendors, Purchasing, Receiving, and plant operations
• Process ACH, wire, and check payments
• Prepare AP aging reports and support cash forecasting
• Reconcile vendor statements and AP balances to the GL
• As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will assist with month-end accruals and 1099 reporting

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
