Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience
• QuickBooks: 2 years minimum
• Organized individual
• Prior Experience working at a law firm preferred

Responsabilités

• Handle full accounts payable cycle: verify invoices and process payments
• Manage general office expenses and client billing
• Communicate with accountant on vendor concerns
• Process credit card statements and gather receipted information
• Enter and reconcile charges in QuickBooks
• Assist with 1099 preparation and front-end year-round tasks
• Request W-9 forms from new vendors
• Prepare invoices and backup documentation
• Other administrative items as needed

With a track record of investigating, litigating, and settling numerous mesothelioma and asbestos lung cancer cases, the firm is dedicated to seeking justice for those affected.

Responsibilities:

• Accounts Payable – Full Payables Cycle including receiving, verifying and processing invoices in QuickBooks Desktop, processing weekly payments to Vendors
• General office expenses
• Client Expenses to be billed
• Communicate with Accountant regarding any concerns or changes with our vendor accounts – Clarifying any questionable invoices
• Credit Cards – Process credit card statements
• Gather receipts and information regarding charges to the cards
• Enter the charges into QuickBooks
• Reconcile QuickBooks to the statement
• Assists with 1099 preparation at year end. Front end work throughout the year
• Request form W9 from new vendors
• Invoice clients and prepare backup documentation
• Other Administrative Items as needed

Requirements:

• 1-3 years experience
• QuickBooks: 2 years minimum

• Prior Experience working at a law firm preferred

Starting salary: From $50,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
