The Halpern Law Firm, LLC in Bryn Mawr, PA and Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a compassionate Intake Coordinator to join its asbestos litigation team, handling sensitive health information and guiding potential clients toward representation.

You will conduct intake interviews, gather medical and exposure histories, maintain case records, and coordinate with paralegals and the marketing team. Some weeknights/weekends rotation required.

Formación

• Prior experience in legal intake or client services preferred.
• Familiarity with asbestos/mass tort or personal injury law.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Experience handling high call volumes.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the initial contact for prospective clients via phone, email, and online inquiries.
• Conduct intake interviews to collect personal, medical, occupational, and exposure history.
• Enter and maintain records in the firm’s case management system.
• Coordinate with complaint team, marketing manager, and managing partner on case status.
• Mail authorizations, intake packets, and diagnosis date letters.
• Coordinate with medical records team and paralegals to collect necessary documentation.
• Track intake metrics and update the Intake Manager or legal team.
• Availability to answer intake related phone calls on a rotating schedule during some weeknights and weekends.

For over 30 years, the firm, led by David Halpern, has been actively fighting for the rights of victims of asbestos exposure. With a track record of investigating, litigating, and settling numerous mesothelioma and asbestos lung cancer cases, the firm is dedicated to seeking justice for those affected.

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Intake Coordinator to join our asbestos litigation team. As the first point of contact for individuals and families affected by asbestos exposure, you will play a vital role in gathering essential case details, building trust with potential clients, and ensuring a smooth transition into legal representation. Your ability to handle sensitive health-related information with empathy and accuracy is critical in this role!

Duties:

• Serve as the initial contact for prospective clients via phone, email, and online inquiries.
• Conduct thorough intake interviews to obtain personal, medical, occupational, and exposure-related history.
• Enter and maintain accurate records in the firm’s case management system.
• Communicating with complaint team, marketing manager, and managing partner about the status of potential cases.
• Mailing out Authorizations, intake packets, and letters including the date of diagnosis.
• Coordinate with medical records team and paralegals to collect necessary documentation.
• Track intake metrics and provide regular updates to the Intake Manager or legal team.
• Availability to answer intake related phone calls on a rotating schedule during some weeknights and weekends.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in legal intake, medical intake, or client services strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with asbestos litigation, mass tort, or personal injury law.
• Must be able to work on a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Comfortable handling high call volumes and managing multiple open leads simultaneously.

Starting salary: From $45,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
