Talentify is seeking an organized Accounting/Accounts Payable Clerk in Tuscaloosa, AL. The role supports property accounts, processes vendor invoices, handles deposits and reconciliations, and prepares monthly financial reports across multiple properties.

The ideal candidate has at least a year of relevant experience, strong math skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with vendors and accounting software.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of related business experience; AP/Bookkeeping preferred.
• Strong math ability and verbal communication; comfortable with computer systems.
• Detail oriented, highly organized, able to work independently.
• Ability to interact with vendors and perform bank reconciliations.

Responsabilidades

• Receives vendor mail and sorts by complex number order.
• Receives mail from properties and managers; sort for payment.
• Match items for payment; enter into system for processing.
• Enter deposits and verify against receipts; post to property ledgers.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for assigned properties.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts monthly and review reports.
• Generate and review monthly property financials; ensure accuracy.
• Schedule vendor payments on specific check runs; coordinate with controller.
• Resolve past-due invoice issues with vendors.
• File paid invoices and maintain records.
• Enter and post journal entries approved by controller.
• Perform quarterly reporting where required.
• Run check runs for management fees, payroll reimbursements, and mortgages.
• Enter mortgage payments from worksheets; calculate occupancy for fees.
• Prepare replacement reserve checks and monitor fund disbursements.
• Process security deposit forfeitures/refunds; mail and file.
• Overtime as needed; adhere to company policy.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
