Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting preferred.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles, debits and credits, accruals, deferrals, and purchase order matching.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• ERP or accounting software experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to manage deadlines.
• German language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, code, and enter invoices and check requests.
• Obtain department head approvals and process weekly check runs.
• Monitor vendor payments and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Process employee expense reports and reconcile credit card statements.
• Reconcile vendor statements and accounts payable to the general ledger.
• Maintain vendor files, W-9s, payment records, and financial documents.
• Assist with sales and use tax reporting and annual 1099 preparation.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing.
• Maintain accurate records and protect confidential information.
