Job summary

GM Financial, headquartered in Fort Worth, TX, seeks an Accounts Payable specialist to lead projects, gather requirements, test changes, and document new workflows. You will provide production support for AP applications, conduct audits, and drive process improvements across departments.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in AP, strong analytical skills, and experience with Coupa, Oracle Fusion, OTBI/FDI, and Databricks. A flexible hybrid work setting and generous benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with accounts payable processes and controls.
• Familiarity with automated financial systems and reporting tools.
• Knowledge of Coupa and Oracle Fusion platforms.
• Proficient with MS Excel, Access, and related Office tools.
• Ability to create ad hoc queries and reporting using OTBI/FDI/Data Bricks.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounts payable projects, gather requirements, test changes, and document processes.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and tracking; manage assigned projects.
• Identify gaps and propose practical solutions for improvements.
• Provide production support for AP systems (Coupa, Oracle Fusion, SharePoint, etc.).
• Handle incident tickets and maintain AP records using appropriate logs.
• Collaborate with IT and business partners to resolve issues.
• Perform audits, research discrepancies, and coordinate corrections as needed.
• Create and maintain training/documentation for AP processes.
• Develop tables, queries, and reports in MS Access, Databricks, OTBI, FDI.
• Advise management on enhancements to boost productivity and controls.
• Maintain control and timely communication with supervisor.
