Job summary

Qualifications

• A minimum of three years of experience in an accounts payable function.
• Willingness to work overtime during peak periods to meet processing deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to communicate with internal and external customers at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Matching and batching invoices, purchase orders and receiving documents.
• Processing employee and corporate card expenses.
• Analyzing invoices for payment and sales tax discrepancies.
• Ensuring proper coding to balance sheet and expense accounts; as well as branch and cost center reporting.
• Obtaining authorization to pay.
• Maintaining vendor database information and physical invoice files.
• Process 1099 information.
• Scheduling and preparing weekly and ad-hoc check runs.
• Analyzing and ensuring subsystem records are uploaded to the general ledger on time.
• Responding to vendor inquiries and employee inquiries.
• Assisting in various AP projects as necessary.
