Accelerate Learning, Houston-based, seeks a hands-on Accounts Payable Manager to lead our AP function within a small corporate accounting team. You will oversee invoice processing, payments, vendor management, and internal controls while supervising one AP Specialist.

A strong communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment will excel as you improve processes. The role requires a minimum of 5+ years in accounts payable, proficiency with Excel, and familiarity with NetSuite.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounts payable experience.
• Strong understanding of AP processes and internal controls.
• Knowledge of 1099 rules and compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with NetSuite and Stampli is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end AP process including invoice entry, approvals and payment runs.
• Manage vendor records, onboarding, and 1099 compliance.
• Support month-end close and provide accruals and reconciliations.
• Train and mentor AP staff and drive process improvements.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Treasury and other departments.
