Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager for a global organization with a collaborative culture and hybrid work environment. You will lead a high-performing AP team, drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and ensure service excellence across the organization.

You will oversee vendor invoices, payments, 1099 reporting, and month/year-end close activities, while partnering with leaders and banking partners to meet organizational objectives and maintain strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable operations, vendor payment administration, and internal controls.
• Demonstrated success implementing process improvements and performance metrics
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Experience with ERP systems and AP automation platforms strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and mentor the Accounts Payable team
• Oversee the timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, employee expense reimbursements, check requests, and payment execution activities.
• Manage AP operations to ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor AP aging, payment cycles, and vendor relationships while resolving escalated payment issues and exceptions.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities through account reconciliations, reporting, and documentation management.
• Oversee annual 1099 reporting and related compliance requirements.
• Drive process improvement, automation, and system optimization initiatives to enhance efficiency and scalability.
• Develop and monitor KPIs and service-level metrics to measure team performance and operational effectiveness.
• Partner with business leaders, vendors, and banking partners to support organizational objectives and operational needs.
