Job summary

CFS is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager in Houston to lead the AP function and drive efficiency across the payments process. The role offers hybrid work flexibility and direct collaboration with accounting leadership and business partners.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of AP experience, strong Excel skills, and experience with NetSuite or Stampli to streamline processes and support month-end close.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience.
• Strong knowledge of AP processes, internal controls, and accounting principles.
• Strong understanding of 1099 compliance requirements.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
• Experience with NetSuite and/or Stampli is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice processing, approvals, and payments.
• Oversee vendor onboarding, vendor maintenance, and compliance documentation.
• Review AP aging reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Support month-end close activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Partner with internal departments to improve payment processes and operational efficiency.
• Supervise, train, and mentor an AP Specialist.
