Applied Resource Group is seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Accounts Payable (AP) Manager to lead our high-volume AP operations. This individual will manage a team of three AP specialists and oversee the processing of 2,000–3,000 invoices per month. This role plays a key part in ensuring financial accuracy and improving processes in a fast-paced environment using NetSuite ERP and Excel.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a team of 3 AP Specialists, providing direction, training, and performance feedback.
• Oversee daily operations of the Accounts Payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of 2,000–3,000 invoices monthly.
• Manage payment runs, including ACH, checks, and wire transfers.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and monitor AP aging to maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and applicable accounting regulations.
• Maintain and enhance internal controls over AP processes.
• Develop and monitor KPIs to track team performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities, including accruals and reporting.
• Utilize NetSuite for transaction processing and reporting; perform advanced data analysis using Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, etc.).
• Lead or support AP-related projects such as system upgrades, automation initiatives, and policy updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounts payable experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
• Proven ability to manage high-volume invoice environments (2,000–3,000/month).
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP and strong Excel skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience implementing or enhancing AP systems or automation is a plus.
