Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments and vendor transactions.
• Bring a calm, grounded, and positive leadership presence to help build team morale and cohesion.
• Quickly assimilate into client environments, effectively contributing even without prior experience with specific tools like SquareWorks.
• Develop and maintain AP policies and procedures to improve workflow, compliance, and operational efficiency.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to support broader finance initiatives, with the potential to expand into AR responsibilities or broader financial leadership.
• Support clients through financial operations transitions and help design or refine SOPs where necessary.
• Maintain internal controls to ensure financial integrity and compliance with applicable regulations.

Required Experience, Education, and Credentials:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 10 years of hands-on experience in accounts payable and payment processing.
• Prior supervisory or team leadership experience in an accounting or finance setting strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to adapt quickly to new environments and systems; SquareWorks experience a plus but not required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with a collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
• Comfortable working independently and proactively solving problems in a client-facing consulting role.

COMPENSATION PACKAGE

-Resource Solutions Consultants are paid for every hour worked and time and a half for overtime, unlike traditional employment where professionals at this level are exempt from earning overtime pay.
