Job summary

JF White is seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor to lead the AP team, coordinating with the Accounting Department on daily projects, reports, and activities. This role will hire, supervise and train staff, ensure processes and controls, and support month-end closing with detailed analyses.

The candidate should have 5+ years in AP management, ERP experience, and strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills to drive accuracy and efficiency across the function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in AP management with leadership.
• ERP experience and strong analytical abilities.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and multitasking capability.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hiring, supervising and training Accounts Payable staff.
• Oversee payable accounting, internal controls and auditing processes.
• Process approval invoices, vouchers and check requests.
• Reconcile POs, stock receipts and vendor invoices with purchasing.
• Reconcile vendor statements and maintain vendor records.
• Prepare 1099 forms and assist with month-end activities.
• Prepare journal entries and provide reports and analyses.
