Job summary

Contrx Industries, Inc. is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to oversee the AP function, own vendor relationships, and ensure accurate, timely work product. This role manages the AP team, sets performance standards, and maintains control processes for payments, aging, and reconciliations.

Reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, you will lead process improvements, establish training, and ensure compliance with internal controls and 1099/vendor regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own the accuracy of AP work product and maintain an error log with a quality-review process.
• Review and reconcile vendor statements monthly with documented sign-off.
• Operate a duplicate-payment control before every payment run to prevent duplicates.
• Ensure invoices are processed accurately and payments go out per the cash plan with remittances.
• Own the AP aging and resolve past-due accounts and credit holds proactively.
• Be the vendor-facing contact for payment questions within approved authority.
• Escalate to the Corporate Controller only when higher authority is required or per vendor request.
