Job summary

Onecranesource is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to lead the AP team, ensure accuracy of payables, and manage vendor relationships. You will own the AP process from end to end and drive continuous improvement in controls and reporting.

The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with the Corporate Controller. You will oversee monthly reconciliations, 1099 preparation, and AP system proficiency to maintain smooth financial operations.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of AP teams.
• Experience managing vendor statements and 1099 filings.
• Ability to implement corrective actions with HR.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication with the Corporate Controller.

Responsibilities

• Own the AP function, people, process, and results.
• Manage and develop the AP team under the AP Manager role.
• Maintain accuracy and timeliness of AP work product.
• Reconcile vendor statements monthly and sign off.
• Operate a duplicate-payment control before every payment run.
• Ensure invoices are processed and payments issued per cash plan.
• Own AP aging and resolve holds to avoid disruption.
• Provide weekly status to Corporate Controller.
• Maintain 1099s filing and W-9 collection.
• Keep D&B report current and monitor for credit terms changes.
