Job summary

Klute, Inc. is seeking an organized Accountant to own Accounts Payable and support the Controller in broader accounting operations. The role emphasizes accuracy in processing vendor invoices, payments, and expense reports within a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in AP or accounting, strong attention to detail, and proficient Excel skills. This on-site position offers competitive compensation and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience).
• Minimum of 2 years of Accounts Payable or general accounting experience.
• Manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and internal controls.
• High accuracy and attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and process vendor invoices accurately and timely.
• Code invoices to the appropriate general ledger accounts and route through approval workflow.
• Match PO, receiving docs, and invoices (three-wayMatch) and enter bills into the system.
• Maintain vendor records and respond to inquiries regarding invoices and payment status.
• Prepare weekly payment runs including checks, ACH, and wire transfers.
