Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Group is seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor to oversee the full life cycle of North American AP operations. You will lead the AP team, ensure timely and accurate processing, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a strong finance professional with deep understanding of process improvements and system enhancements. You will be detailed, deadline-oriented, and able to operate cross-functionally in a complex organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting or related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience.
• Experience in Accounts Payable in a high growth company preferred.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement.
• Strong ownership and willingness to tackle challenges in a changing environment.
• Ability to think globally.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Accounts Payable department staff including hiring, training, mentoring, and coaching.
• Analyze invoices for accuracy and compliance with internal controls in Purchase-to-Pay.
• Execute routine vendor payments in collaboration with cash management and sourcing.
• Perform monthly journal entries and AP account reconciliations.
• Monitor aging of open AP and GRIR accounts; handle 1099 and tax matters.
• Support process-improvement initiatives and monthly metrics reporting.
• Foster strong cross-functional relationships and respond to vendor inquiries.
