Job summary

Rothe Development Inc. is seeking an Accounts Payable Lead/Business Analyst II to support the NASA eMITS contract in a hybrid Houston environment. The role handles high-volume AP activities, vendor invoices, and cost accounting with emphasis on accuracy and regulatory compliance.

You will work with buyers, corporate office, and financial analysts, process invoices in Costpoint, and assist with audits and internal controls. Requires 3–5 years of relevant experience and a US citizenship.

Qualifications

• BA in accounting/finance or related discipline with 3–5 years of accounting experience.
• Experience with Deltek Costpoint and high attention to detail.
• Strong Excel skills and advanced MS Office proficiency.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain NASA Public Trust badge.

Responsibilities

• Validate invoices, purchase orders, credit card statements, and payables data for accuracy.
• Process vendor invoices using Deltek Costpoint and research discrepancies.
• Perform month-/quarter-/year-end closing activities and post journal entries.
• Maintain Accounts Payable Inbox and ensure organized electronic files.
• Ensure compliance with FAR, CAS, GAAP and internal controls; support audits.
• Develop and enforce internal controls; identify and correct off-standard situations.
• Assist with reporting on purchases, audits, invoices, and contract metrics.
