Job summary

Clayton Homes is seeking an Accounting Clerk II to provide clerical support to Connect Truck Shop Accounting. The role focuses on invoice processing, coding, and AP/AR activities across three Truck Shops, with inventory management responsibilities at the TN shop.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, strong 10-key data entry skills, and solid MS Excel knowledge. Experience with Oracle and Global software is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Candidate should process a large volume of paperwork with high accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills and confidentiality are essential.
• Experience with Accounts Payable, Oracle and Global software is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other MS Office apps is useful.

Responsibilities

• Process and code invoices for three Truck Shops (main duty).
• Assist TN Truck Shop with inventory management.
• Review open POs at month end to ensure accrual accuracy.
• Serve as backup for RCO Terminal invoice processing as needed.
• Review vendor statements to prevent late payments.
• Enter Outside Service Work Orders into MGR Plus.
