Chubby Group is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable professional to join our growing Finance team in New York. This role will support accounts payable, inventory management, month-end close, and restaurant finance operations across 50+ locations.

We value candidates with experience in Craftable, Restaurant365, MarginEdge, or MarketMan to optimize purchasing and AP processes. A strong eye for detail and collaboration with vendors, managers, and the accounting team is essential.

Qualificações

• 3–4 years of experience in accounts payable and general accounting.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent experience.
• Solid understanding of accrual accounting, the month-end close, and account reconciliations.
• Experience processing high invoice volumes accurately and on deadline.
• Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, and SUMIFS.
• Clear written and verbal communication with vendors, restaurant managers, and the accounting team.

Responsabilidades

• Process vendor invoices, credit memos, and expense reports for multiple entities, with correct coding to GL accounts, locations, and departments.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving records; resolve price and quantity discrepancies with vendors and restaurant managers.
• Prepare weekly payment runs (ACH, check, wire) and route them for approval.
• Set up and maintain vendor master data, including W-9s, payment terms, and banking details, with controls against duplicate or fraudulent vendors.
• Reconcile vendor statements, manage AP aging, and answer vendor inquiries promptly.
• Prepare and file year-end 1099s.
• Assist with month-end close and contribute to process improvements.
