Job summary

Southall, a premier destination bringing nature, produce and people together, seeks an Accounts Payable Staff Accountant. You will handle day-to-day AP tasks, vendor management, payment processing, and month-end close, collaborating with Finance leadership and purchasing teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

The role supports general accounting activities, including accruals, GL review, CAPEX, and other Finance projects as assigned. Strong Excel skills and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of Accounts Payable or accounting experience, hospitality experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting highly preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Accounts Payable inbox and respond to inquiries in a timely, professional manner.
• Review, code, approve, process, and post invoices with proper GL coding and approvals.
• Review POs, receiving records, invoices, and docs to identify discrepancies and exceptions.
• Maintain vendor records in Sage Intacct and add new vendors with required approvals.
• Process weekly check runs and other payments (ACH, electronic payments, Bill.com).
• Verify payments and ensure Craftable transactions sync with Sage Intacct.
• Maintain AP Aging Report and reconcile major vendor statements.
• Prepare weekly Cash Management Report and assist in bank reconciliation reviews.
