Job summary

Union College in Schenectady, NY seeks a Financial Services Specialist/Accounts Payable Associate to manage corporate cards and audit expense reports. The role involves timely processing and approval of expense reports, card ordering, and handling expired or suspended cards.

You will support supplier invoice audits, invoice creation, and statement reconciliation, contributing to accurate AP operations in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 1–3 years of Accounts Payable experience.
• Experience with corporate card management preferred.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Previous experience with Colleague, Workday, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Gmail.

Responsibilities

• Auditing expense reports.
• Efficiently managing the creation and approval of expense reports.
• Ordering new corporate credit cards as needed.
• Dispositioning expired credit cards as needed.
• Suspending credit cards as needed.
