Job summary

Union College in Schenectady, NY is seeking a Financial Services Specialist/Accounts Payable Associate to manage corporate credit cards, audit expense reports, and support supplier invoicing and reconciliation. The role follows a hybrid schedule, Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week, 8AM–5PM.

The position supports the Financial Services team with card management, expense reporting, and supplier invoice processing while ensuring timely, accurate accounting and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 1-3 years of Accounts Payable experience required.
• Experience with Corporate Card management preferred.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage workload efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Colleague, Workday, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Gmail.

Responsibilities

• Auditing expense reports
• Efficiently managing the creation and approval of expense reports
• Ordering new corporate credit cards as needed
• Dispositioning expired credit cards as needed
• Suspending credit cards as needed
