Job summary

Louisiana State University Shreveport (LSUS) is seeking an accounting support professional to assist with the University’s accounts payable cycle and provide quality service to vendors, students, staff, faculty, and any other University customers both effectively and efficiently.

The role emphasizes processing vendor payments, student financial aid and refunds, and expense reports, with interdepartmental collaboration and reporting to the Director of Accounting Services.

Qualifications

• Three years of relevant experience in business operations and general finance and accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited university (degree not required if experience meets requirements).
• Experience in higher education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review expense reports for reimbursement and reconcile corporate card transactions.
• Review pending aged corporate card transactions and reconcile in Workday.
• Assist staff with creating expense reports in Workday.
• Monitor expense reports in draft status and assist with invoices and purchase orders.
• Pull invoices for audits and assist with quarter meals reporting.
