Job summary

Installed Building Products in Vermont is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to match invoices to purchase orders, reconcile statements, and maintain accurate AP records. You will support month-end close and coordinate with vendors and internal teams on payment inquiries.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of AP or accounting experience, strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate accounts payable records.
• Assist with month-end closing activities.
• Communicate with vendors and internal teams regarding payment inquiries.
• Process packing slips and receivers, and close purchase orders.
• Provide back-up for other team members (as needed).
