Job summary

RDR Utility Services Group is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team in a fast-paced environment. You will enter invoices, match POs, reconcile statements, and help with month-end close while maintaining meticulous financial records.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years AP experience, strong Excel skills, and excellent attention to detail. This is a full-time on-site role offering health benefits and retirement plan options with opportunities for teamwork and growth.

Qualifications

Job Duties:

• Enter a high volume of invoices, ensuring they are accurately coded and authorized.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and goods received notes.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies or queries promptly.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
• Assist the finance team with month-end closing procedures and reporting.
• Communicate with vendors and internal managers to ensure smooth payment processes.
• Review invoices for accuracy, proper approvals, account coding, purchase orders, and supporting documentation.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience working as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar finance role.
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly with strong MS Excel skills.
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
