Job summary

Sport Automotive is seeking an Automotive Accounts Payable Clerk to join our fast-paced accounting team. You will process vendor invoices, match to PO/repair orders, and ensure accurate general ledger coding.

The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, excels in Excel, and can communicate with vendors and dealership departments. Automotive dealership experience is a plus, and CDK DMS knowledge is helpful.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts payable or accounting preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel and other office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Match invoices to purchase orders, repair orders, and supporting documentation.
• Verify invoice coding, approvals, and appropriate general ledger accounts.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Prepare and process payments in accordance with company procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and organized accounts payable files.
• Communicate with vendors and dealership departments to resolve questions and discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end closing and other accounting duties as needed.
