Courtesy Chevrolet Phoenix is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dealership accounting team. You will process high-volume invoices, reconcile vendor statements, and ensure timely payments in a fast-paced automotive environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of AP experience, with dealership accounting experience preferred, and familiarity with CDK or Reynolds & Reynolds software. This role offers comprehensive benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Accounts Payable experience required.
• Automotive dealership accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar dealership software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process high-volume vendor invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Match invoices with purchase orders and supporting documentation.
• Obtain proper approvals and coding for payment processing.
• Prepare checks, ACH payments, and weekly payment runs.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payments and account balances.
• Maintain organized and accurate accounts payable records.
• Monitor outstanding invoices to ensure timely payment.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and account reconciliations.
• Work closely with department managers to resolve invoice issues and obtain approvals.
• Follow company accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Perform other accounting and accounts payable duties as assigned.
